The Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Ravens kick off the NFL Preseason on Thursday Night in Philadelphia.You may not have realized it, but the Eagles play their first preseason game this Thursday against the Baltimore Ravens. Yes, just two weeks after the start of camp and a week after all the free agents even started practicing... they are playing in a game.Andy Reid said this week that his first team offense will play one quarter, the second team will play the second quarter into the third and the rest will finish out the game. While that is the plan, I would not be at all surprised to see him pull the offense after a series or two if he's relatively happy with what he sees.
It is amazing to think how long it feels and yet how short it has been since the start of the NFL year, which began two weeks ago today.... and we've already got a preseason game happening.
